The project was the conversion of a flat roofed shop into a holiday home. The existing building was long, narrow and set back from the road with a building either side.
The proposed design was to add rooms into the open plan shop space and add a new extension onto the road facing front of the building.
The new pitch roof extension changes the appearance of the existing flat roof building to give the building a more residential appearance. Large windows in the new extension create a bright kitchen and living area. To the rear of the building patio doors open out onto the garden.
