Lanzarote is situated to the east of the Canaries Islands. The island is pure geology, with undersea and lunar landscapes and clear waters. Lanzarote has 300 plus volcanoes that define the islands terrain.

The forms of melted lava were used as the inspiration for the building design. The building has connection to the hillside topography and blends into it. Louvered photovoltaic roofs allow filtered light into the spaces below. The building’s roofs are Brown, bio diverse consisting of rubble and gravel sourced from the site and allowing the plants on the site to also grow on the roof and help camouflage the building.
