The site for the house is in Otter Cove at a Cliffside location south of Carmel California with unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. Many of Lady Gaga’s dresses and headdresses have architectural angular forms. These forms were used as the inspiration for the house design.
The building has an office and bathroom on the lower level. The ground level is open plan with living, kitchen and dining areas. The first floor has bedroom that open out onto the roof garden.
The building has a close connection to the topography of its site and is cut into the Cliffside. Two of the roofs are roof gardens and the lower roof forms the entrance into the building and a shallow pool. Next to the shallow pool is a deeper swimming pool.
